About
Bob Gallo brings decades of powerboat racing experience to the Jersey Speed Skiff class. He first raced Outboard Performance Class boats in the late 1960s and 1970s before moving into Jersey Skiffs, competing as JS-23 from 1980 to 1985 and JS-43 from 1990 to 1995. In 2023, Gallo returned to the driver's seat for owner Bobby Birdsall in JS-32. His connection to the sport started by watching the old Gold Coast Marathon and Unlimited hydroplanes at Miami Marine Stadium, making his return to racing part of a story that stretches across generations of South Florida boat racing.
