Abigail Langford comes from a racing family and credits her father with getting her behind the wheel. The Denton, Maryland driver is entering her fourth season in Jersey Speed Skiff competition and earned her first victory at Cambridge in 2026. Langford continues to learn by reviewing onboard footage with her father after race weekends and using that feedback to sharpen her driving. Her JS-41 also carries a family story of its own, with the boat named around the childhood nickname 'Crabster' that her father gave her as a baby.
